IFATC Companion App

IFATC Companion is an iPhone companion app that provides simulated, FAA-style commercial IFR communications while flying Infinite Flight, particularly when no live controllers are available. It follows the flight from gate to gate with Ramp, Ground, Tower, Departure, Center, Approach, Arrival, and Ramp communications, automatically generating calls and controller handoffs based on the aircraft’s position and phase of flight. The app also includes interactive pilot responses, text-to-speech controller voices, route weather with METARs, PIREPs, SIGMETs, ride reports and precipitation overlays, simulated weather deviations, and automatic clearance back to the filed route. A free Mock Mode demonstrates the complete ATC experience without connecting to Infinite Flight, while the subscription-based Live Connected Mode communicates with Infinite Flight through the local Wi-Fi network.
